When the community comes together, something beautiful happens—neighbors become friends, hearts connect, and small acts of kindness grow into lasting change. At Food for Now, we share meals, pantry items, and support every Friday at 5:30 p.m., 2835 Lakeshore Blvd, bringing hope and comfort to those in need.

Friday Night Outreach (FNO) is a community initiative focused on supporting people who are unhoused, food-insecure, or otherwise in need. Volunteers gather on Friday evenings—like your group does at 2835 Lakeshore Blvd, 5:30 PM—to provide meals, essential supplies, and human connection.
The purpose isn’t just to hand out food; it’s about building trust, offering dignity, and showing care to people who might feel forgotten. It often includes preparing meals, organizing pantry items, and spending time with community members to listen, encourage, and make them feel seen and valued.

Many of our guests struggle with mental health issues, which can make it difficult for them to access the resources they need. Our mental health services provide counseling and support to help individuals overcome these challenges.
